John Malsch, VP of Sales for Automation Engineering Co. LLC, recently achieved a workplace milestone when he reached his 25th anniversary working with AEC. While his current position involves leading sales and services worldwide, Malsch began his career at AEC as a computer-aided designer in 1989. From there, he was soon a controls engineer, developing hardware designs and programs for customers in the textile and metal industry.
Malsch was integral to AEC’s transition from a systems integrator to a fully custom design and supply company providing turn-key automated solutions for a variety of industries. He helped the company expand into the metals, nuclear, automotive, healthcare, construction, and consumer goods industries. His work as a project manager during that crucial time helped keep AEC on the right track to become one of the most well-known design and supply companies in the region.
“I’ve been so privileged to work at such an outstanding company for so long,” Malsch said. “Every position I’ve had here has given me so many opportunities, and I’ve learned so much from my time at AEC.”
In his position as VP of Sales, Malsch is responsible for the delivery of AEC’s world-renowned products and services to the tube and pipe industry. He is the main point of entry for companies looking to do business with AEC.
“John is really one of the most versatile and essential people we have here,” said AEC President and CEO Manfred Gollent. “AEC is really lucky to have John, and other employees with his same dedication and work ethic.”
