Description:

Automation Engineering Corporation (AEC) seeks an extraordinary Business Development professional to help our customers solve manufacturing problems with state of the art factory automation machines and systems. AEC serves customers in a wide variety of industries, in multiple countries, each with challenging and unique requirements that will stretch you technically and professionally.

AEC Business Development Leader will participate in:

  • Developing strategy and plans to identify markets and prospects
  • Qualify, meet and introduce prospects to AEC
  • Solicit opportunities for business

  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers, prospects and partners

  • Mechanical and electrical design for factory automation systems and equipment
  • Custom fabricated machinery and control panels

  • AEC was founded in 1981 and operates from a 55,000 ft2 facility off Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina. AEC is privately held and is employee owned.

Requirements:

  • Most candidates should have a degree in engineering, physics, etc. Lack of degree is not a disqualification for the right person.
  • 5 years demonstrated success in project, automated, equipment sales
  • 2 years experience in manufacturing industry
