DUTIES: Responsible for programming automated manufacturing systems using C++, VStudio, LabVIEW, PLC Systems, HMI, AutoCAD, Vision Inspection Tools, Database Systems and Robots. Responsible for developing plc code, robot integration and database-plc interface programs for data traceability and recipe management. Responsible for coding LabVIEW for semi-automated assembly systems, instrumentation applications and user interface. Responsible for developing grafcets for machine operation per customer specification and convert into appropriate code. Responsible for customer relationship, debugging, and maintaining previously installed systems and final documentation. Requires 20% travel to test programs at customer work sites.
REQUIREMENTS: (1) MA/MS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field plus 1 year experience as a Software Engineer/Programmer; OR (2) BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field plus 5 years progressive experience as a Software Engineer/Programmer. Foreign equivalents are accepted.
SALARY RANGE: $77,000 to $80,000 per year
HOURS: 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
